The National AIDS Commission (NAC) in collaboration with National AIDS/STIs Control Program (NACP) of the Ministry of Health and partners joined the World on 1st December 2017 to commemorate this year’s World AIDS Day (WAD).
WAD 2017 observance took place in Kakata, Margibi County, under the Global Theme: “The Right to Health"; with its National Theme: "Making Liberia HIV Free”.
WAD is held on December 1 every year, and is about increasing awareness, responding to stigma, improving education, mobilizing resources and raising funds for the global response to end AIDS.
